Apartment building on Daliju street
Upesgrīvas Street is known as the boundary between Riga and Mārupe. In the relatively compact land plot (1145 m²) at the intersection of Dāliju and Upesgrīvas Streets, the team of authors has succeeded in creating a building that seemingly has begun to function as the cornerstone of Dāliju and Upesgrīvas streets. The rational volumes and layout, simplicity and balanced relationships between the chosen materials, and nuanced details are perhaps what make this building a convincing element in the surrounding environment.
