The object is designed as a local library and neighborhood community center. The building is a landmark—concise yet expressive, blending with its surroundings but easily noticeable, inviting, and accessible. The group of old trees on the site plays a significant role in the development of the idea, with the building’s shape and placement adapted to them. The trees attract and deform the strict square shape, highlighting nature’s impact on the building’s form. This feeling permeates the new building both in the exterior and interior, and also resonates with the landscaping.
