The master house is part of a wider vision for the Dūrmuiža farm, whose landscape is formed by the diversity of nature. Therefore, the fusion of architecture and landscape played a major role in the creation of the house. Floorplan respects the owners' cherished dream of life in the country - comfortable and oriented towards the sun. The interior reflects the owners' creative personalities and love for art. Locally sourced timber is used as much as possible in both the architecture and the interior as well as the work of local craftsmen. Most of the furniture has found a second life here.
