The basic premise of the construction of the cultural center of the Valmiera Palace is to create a modern one an information room that would tell about the history of Valmiera Castle, as well as restore and preserve it existing castle ruins. The basic concept of the project is to create the building volume of the cultural center as a laconic, a compositionally simple volume that contrasts with the geometrically complex Valmieras castle environment. The transparent new building volume serves as an attention-grabber object. Restoration and renovation works made for historical bulding.
