The open architectural competition "Roof terrace — Galleria Riga" has concluded. The aim of the competition was to obtain an urban and architecturally outstanding, high quality proposal for the roof terraces — all-season pavilions of the Galleria Riga shopping centre, taking into account the requirements arising from the location — the protected historical centre of Riga.
Five proposals were received, one of which was not taken forward for further evaluation because it did not meet the criteria set out in the competition specifications.
The first prize was awarded to the proposal EN314 by Studio SIJA, 8x8, Alsins Architecture Latvija (Kristiāna Erta, Artūrs Tols, Ints Menģelis, Harijs Alsiņš, Karola Rubene).
