RD Īpašuma departaments sadarbībā ar LR Republikas Kultūras ministriju un Latvijas Arhitektu savienību aicina piedalīties starptautiskā Rīgas Filharmonijas arhitektūras metu konkursā. Dalībnieki aicināti projektēt Rīgas Filharmonijas ēku Rīgas vēsturiskajā centrā, ainaviskā pilsētvidē – Kronvalda parkā, pārbūvējot Rīgas Kongresu namu. Konkursa mērķis ir iegūt labāko, arhitektoniski un funkcionāli pārdomāto, ilgtspējīgo ēkas un piegulošās ārtelpas izveides projektu, kas visvairāk atbilst konkrētajai funkcijai un veido kopumu ar pilsētvidi.
Konkurss plānots divās kārtās. 1. kārtā tiks atlasīti 6 meti, kuru autori tiks aicināti piedalīties 2. kārtā. Atlīdzību fonds par
dalību 2. kārtā – 180 000 EUR, godalgu fonds 2. kārtā – 60 000 EUR.
Konkurss tiks izsludināts: 2023. gada 18. janvārī
Pēc konkursa izsludināšanas interesenti varēs reģistrēties konkursa mājaslapā, un viņiem tiks nosūtīta saite uz materiāliem.

The Property Department of the Riga City Council in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia and the Latvian Architects Association are announcing the launch of the international architectural competition of Riga Philharmonic.
The participants of the competition are invited to design the building of Riga Philharmonic within the historic center of Riga, in a scenic urban environment – in Kronvalda Park, rebuilding the Riga Congress Centre located at Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 5, Riga.
The aim of the Sketch Design Competition is to obtain the best, architecturally and functionally elaborate proposal for a sustainable building of Riga Philharmonic and the adjoining public open space which would be the most appropriate for the particular function and would blend harmoniously within the particular urban environment.
It is planned to hold the Sketch Design Competition in two rounds. The 1st round will be announced on 18 January 2023, with 10 May 2023 being the deadline for sketch design submission.
As many as 6 entries will be selected in the 1st competition round and their authors ill be invited to take part in the 2nd competition round. It is planned to pay EUR 180,000.00 in rewards for participation in the 2nd competition round and the prize money in the 2nd competition round constitutes EUR 60,000.00.

The visit to the competition site will take place on 15 February 2023, at 12:00 pm in the Riga Congress Centre, at Kr. Valdemāra iela 5, in Riga.
